Checking Convor Availability

Convor is a hosted service. Diagnose integration problems from the customer-visible surface that is affected rather than changing service-side configuration.

Widget availability

If the widget does not appear or stops updating:

1. Confirm the page contains the production widget.js embed only once.
2. Confirm data-key matches the public widget key for the selected site.
3. Check that the current hostname is allowed in the site's widget settings.
4. Test in a clean browser profile without content blockers or privacy extensions.
5. Review the browser console and Network panel for blocked Convor requests.
6. Check whether your Content Security Policy, corporate proxy, DNS filter, or firewall is blocking the hosted widget.

Do not add service endpoint overrides to the embed when troubleshooting. The production bundle owns those endpoints.

Dashboard availability

When the dashboard is affected, first determine whether the problem is account specific or browser specific:

• refresh the page and sign in again if the session has expired;
• try a clean browser profile;
• confirm your user still belongs to the expected organization and site;
• verify another team member can reproduce the same problem before changing organization settings.

API availability

For customer API calls, record the HTTP status and the response's correlation ID when one is provided. Check authentication, scopes, plan entitlements, and rate limits before retrying.

Do not include API keys, visitor identity secrets, webhook secrets, or complete session tokens in support messages or screenshots.

Information to include with a support report

A useful report contains:

• the affected page or dashboard area;
• the approximate time and timezone;
• browser and operating system;
• whether the problem reproduces in a clean browser profile;
• the HTTP status and correlation ID for a failed API request;
• the public widget key prefix or site name when the widget is affected.

Keep credentials and customer personal data out of the report unless Convor support explicitly requests a safe, redacted example.
