Business hours and timezone
Set your support team's weekly availability and understand which features use that schedule.
Customers can visit around the clock. Support teams usually cannot. In Settings → Scheduling, enter your staffed hours so Convor can use them for availability decisions and the SLA policies that depend on business time. Individual Rules still have their own timing controls.
Choose a weekly schedule
Open Settings → Scheduling. Choose 24/7, Fixed hours or Flexible. Reserve 24/7 for teams that really cover every day. Otherwise, set working periods for the days operators are available, with shorter hours where appropriate.
Breaks, overnight shifts and time format
Fixed hours applies one time range to the weekdays you select. Choose 09:00-17:00 Monday to Friday when the TopSoft4U support team follows a regular schedule. Flexible lets you edit days separately, add more than one working period with a break, or close a day entirely. For an overnight shift, read the weekly summary to confirm the range extends into the next day.
The editor also switches between 24 h and AM/PM. That changes how you enter a time, not the timezone used to interpret it. Review the entire week before saving. It's easy to leave a weekend unintentionally open when copying settings from another site.
Set business hours separately for each site
The editor saves the business-hours schedule for the selected site. TopSoft4U can staff its store from 09:00 to 17:00 while Convor.io follows a longer support shift. Before adjusting the second schedule, select the correct site in the dashboard. The displayed timezone comes from the selected site. Convor falls back to the organization's timezone when that site has no timezone override. SLA policies use the schedule of the conversation's own site.
For a lunch break, use Flexible to create two periods on the same day. If the form rejects a schedule, inspect overlapping ranges, the selected closed days and overnight time boundaries.
Check the site's timezone
The editor uses the timezone associated with the selected site or organization. Verify it before entering hours for a team spread across different regions. A Monday 09:00 opening means 09:00 in the timezone shown in the editor, which may differ from an individual operator's clock.
The Support hours only option in SLA policies uses the configured schedule. Rules have their own dates, time windows and reply intervals. After saving, test how an after-hours conversation is treated. If the editor rejects the schedule, check overlapping ranges and time formatting. Changing business hours does not automatically change an operator's online presence.
