Manage sites and projects
Keep website domains, operators and settings in the correct Convor project.
Running two storefronts? Use Sites to separate domains, widget settings and customer-facing content, then select the correct site before editing a Rule. A dedicated site also makes sense when the same organization maintains a product website with different support coverage.
Choose a site before editing
Open Sites. The list shows each site's name, domain, status and operator access. The selected site also sets the context for Conversations, Knowledge, Rules and widget settings. Check the site selector before changing a reply or installation key. Its timezone also affects the business-hours schedule.
Create a new site
Choose New site and enter the required website details. Your plan limits how many sites you can create. If a domain changes, inspect the installation key and allowed domains in Widget settings, rather than copying another site's snippet.
Set a timezone and assignment strategy
Select the site's Timezone next. For a TopSoft4U team working in Poland, Europe/Warsaw keeps schedules aligned with local shifts. Under Assignment strategy, choose how Convor handles new conversations: Round robin, Least busy or Manual assignment. Use Least busy when several operators share a queue, and manual assignment when a dispatcher distributes work.
Verify the new site
Open its settings, verify the primary domain and copy the installation key from Widget settings. Test chat on topsoft4u.com and check that a test conversation appears under the correct site. Assign operators and configure site-specific Rules and Knowledge once you know the widget is receiving messages.
Archiving or restricting a site can affect support work. After changing the domain, retest the widget and open Conversations before treating the migration as complete.
